Posted: Monday, March 28, 2011 by Dr. Michael Dominguez, M.D.

April 2011 has been designated Alcohol Awareness Month. As the weather gets warmer and it becomes time for barbeques, picnics, and Fiesta, I thought it would be a good time to discuss issues about alcohol abuse. I am very familiar with this subject and thought that by sharing my experiences, I might bring the issues a little closer to home.

    Dr. Dominguez December Medical Update

Posted: Wednesday, December 1, 2010 by Michael Dominguez M.D.

The month of December has been designated National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month and Red Ribbon Safety Campaigns for the Holidays. Given the high number of accidents related to drunk driving in San Antonio, I thought it would be valuable to discuss this important issue and provide information about substance abuse to help with identifying friends and family who might be at risk.

SAN ANTONIO, TX - Happy Father’s Day! This month, it is the men’s turn for a health reminder. Unlike women who are “too busy,” most men avoid doctors because they often think “nothing is wrong with me.” While that may be true, problems can be addressed much more easily when found earlier.
